Bird Migration in Kenya

The Kenya Lake System located in the Great Rift Valley is a migratory area that looks like a cageless aviary populated by tons of endemic bird species. Up to 4 million flamingos congregate among the great white pelicans and flocks of storks, grebes and spoonbills. Over 100 migratory species of bird make this place their haven from November until March which is the prime season for bird-watching.
